ABOUT ME & JO-JO

My name is Karin Liljekvist, the founder and maker behind JO-JO.

I was trained as a textile designer in Copenhagen in 2005 and have since worked across textile, interior and design-based practices.

In 2023, JO-JO was launched as an independent slow fashion practice — bringing together years of material knowledge, craftsmanship and design.

Each garment is sewn by hand from carefully selected leftover fabrics. The work is slow, deliberate and intimate, with material and construction at its core.

JO-JO creates unique pieces with a quiet, classic expression. All garments are produced in limited editions, using reused materials in excellent condition. For personal orders or enquiries, you are welcome to get in touch.

These products are made to measure and special ordered. You order them by an email and appearance and size are discussed according to taste. Fabrics, buttons, measurements, collars and other details will be selected.

The products are always made from recycled fabrics, curated, luxurios and in top condition and quality.
